The Local Government Unit of San Nicolas has taken another significant step towards eco-friendly infrastructure by installing LED solar-powered lights in Brgy. Camindoroan.

This initiative has seen the installation of 10 sets of 300w LED solar lights, coupled with 10 pieces of 2 ½ G.I. pipes, which serve as sturdy mounts for the lighting systems. The project is a part of the LGU’s commitment to harness renewable energy sources and reduce the carbon footprint of the community.

The solar-powered lights are expected to provide numerous benefits to the residents of Brgy. Camindoroan being led by 𝐏𝐁 𝐅𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐋. 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐨. Not only will they ensure well-lit streets after sunset, enhancing safety and security, but they will also contribute to energy savings and lower electricity costs for the local government.

Mayor Alice emphasized the importance of this project, stating, “By investing in renewable energy, we are paving the way for a brighter and more sustainable future for our beloved town through a proactive approach in adopting green technologies and its unwavering commitment to improving the quality of life of every San Nicolanian.”
