On June 19, 2024, the municipality was abuzz with gratitude as the successful implementation of the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) Project came to fruition. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 1 – 104th Maneuver Company led by Police Captain Kristine Jean Lamsen, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) headed by Ms. Mary Jane Hufano and the local government led by Mayor Alice.
The payout ceremony, held at the Municipal Auditorium, was a momentous occasion as 194 beneficiaries received a total amount of 843,900 pesos. Each beneficiary was awarded 4,350 pesos for their hard work and dedication during the 10-day project. With a daily rate of 435 pesos, the beneficiaries had diligently worked to clean and beautify public spaces within the municipality.
Mayor Alice took the time to personally thank each beneficiary for their contributions to the project. Their commitment to their tasks in cleaning not only improved the aesthetics of the public areas but also showcased their work ethics and dedication to our town. The impact of their efforts was tangible and greatly appreciated by all residents who benefited from the enhanced public spaces.
As the beneficiaries received their well-deserved compensation, the spirit of gratitude and unity permeated the auditorium.
