On-site school classes in all public and private schools in San Nicolas will resume on Monday, May 13.
Teachers and students are advised to wear loose, light-colored clothes and always drink water to prevent heat stress, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke.
However, when in-person classes will further expose students, teachers, and non-teaching personnel to extreme heat conditions, putting their health at risk, school heads are advised to exercise their discretion under DepEd Order No. 37 to continue suspending in-person classes.
