Kailian, narito ang mga tuntunin at regulasyon sa paggamit ng Municipal Covered Gymnasium na kailangang sundin simula bukas, May 28, 2024.
1. San Nicolanians are allowed to use the covered court for basketball games on a free, first-come, first-served basis.
2. The free use of a half-court play shall be limited to a maximum of 30 minutesโ playing time, if other residents are waiting for their turn to play. The use of gymnasium can be renewed every thirty minutes if there are no residents waiting to play.
3. Playing time for a whole court game will be maximum of 1 hour or 2 run to 16 games if other player groups are waiting to play. The use can be renewed every hour if there are other players/groups waiting to play.
4. Only LGU sponsored tournaments are allowed on the covered court. All other sponsored tournaments under the jurisdiction of the municipality shall first seek a permit at the Office of the Mayor, at least one (1) month prior to the tournament.
5. Players shall bring and use their own sports equipment. The LGU shall not be held liable for any loss or damage to any equipment or personal effects.
6. Any damage to the court facilities (example: board, net, ring, court covers/paint or floor) will be charged to the last group who played if found that the damages are not โwear and tearโ.
7. Players must be responsible of their own behavior. Loud and abusive language, unruly, rowdy, or discourteous behavior and fighting or other violent acts shall not be allowed.
8. Proper attire should be strictly observed; non wearing of shirts/ sando/ jersey, barefoot, use of slippers, sandals, leather shoes and other non-athletic footwear shall not be allowed for the players to use.
9. Consumption of alcoholic drinks, use of prohibited drugs of any kind, smoking, โ vaping, eating, and betting/ gambling is strictly prohibited.
10. Alcohol or prohibited drugs intoxicated individuals are not allowed to play.
11. LGU personnel on duty at the covered court shall have the right to prohibit any person from playing in the covered court in its sole and absolute discretion.
12. LGU shall not be liable for any injury to player or loss of property of any person using the covered court.
13. The Office of the Mayor at its sole discretion may cancel tournament reservations, suspend, or ban tournament organizers, team, or individuals from using the covered court for the reasons below:
a. Failure to abide the Rules and Regulations governing the use of the covered court;
b. Willfully causes damage to covered gym facilities; and
c. Misrepresentation in the use of the court.
14. Clean As You Go. (CLAYGO) policy must be strictly observed at all times.
15. The court is open on the following schedule, to wit:
Monday-Saturday: 10:00 AM-6:00 PMโโโโโโ
Sunday: 1:00 PM-6:00 PM
