Ten solar-powered streetlights were recently installed in Barangay Malilion, enhancing safety and security while advocating for greener, energy-efficient solutions. The project, led by Mayor Alicia Primicias-Enriquez and supported by 𝘽𝙧𝙜𝙮. 𝘾𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙏𝙚𝙤𝙙𝙤𝙡𝙛𝙪 𝙎. 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙨 and the council is part of the local government’s push toward sustainable development.

Funded through the barangay subsidy, the streetlights were installed with the active collaboration of Malilion residents. During an inspection of the completed project, Mayor Alice expressed her gratitude for the community’s effort and emphasized the project’s dual benefits: promoting environmental responsibility and saving funds for other essential services and facility maintenance.

“Through these initiatives, we not only improve the lives of San Nicolanians but also make a significant contribution to the global movement for a greener earth,” said Mayor Alice.
