The Music of My Childhood

𝑺𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒔 was my beloved piano recital piece when I was just 9 years old, a melody that danced through my childhood and captured my imagination with its flowing rhythms.

Unfortunately, the demands of my mayoral responsibilities have left little time for practice, and I find that my fingers no longer move as smoothly across the keys as they once did. Despite this, I am grateful that the notes linger in my memory, serving as a poignant reminder of my early passion for music.

I hold onto the hope that one day, I can return to the piano, allowing the familiar melodies to revive the joy and creativity that once felt so effortless.
