Another San Nicolanian family came to the aid of the Local Government Unit of San Nicolas and its desire to be of support to the ongoing infrastructure development such as farm-to-market road. And this earned the respect and gratitude by Mayor Alice herself who was touched by the kind and generous act.
Very recently, the Bedaña Family in Brgy. Sobol represented by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝗰𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗕. 𝗕𝗲𝗱𝗮ñ𝗮 executed an affidavit of donation donating the 375 square meters of their property in the said barangay which crosses the development of a farm-to-market road project of the local government.
The portion of the Bedaña’s property stands as a significant part of the said project which will ease the transport of locals and travelers alike who are en route to Barangays Sobol, Casaratan, and San Roque.
“I was really touched by the generous contribution of the Bedaña Family and their sincere devotion to our cause to improve our roads for the benefit of our farmers and the riding public. The Bedaña Family will be recorded in the list of donors that have specifically contributed for the welfare of our people. We are grateful for what they have done so in behalf of the LGU, please accept my deepest gratitude for their generosity,” Mayor Alice noted.
Mayor Alice added that the soon-to-be completion of the said project, which was started on January 11, 2022 is now certainly at hand.
“It is a remarkable achievement by the LGU. With this donation, we can now proceed with the cementing of the remaining portion. So again, thanks to Bedaña Family. This is indeed a wonderful legacy by your family not only to your barangay, but also for all the people of San Nicolas. We pray to God to bless you, Sir Jecxter, and the whole Bedaña family even more,” she further said.
