As part of its competency-enhancement framework, doctors and nurses belonging to the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 (𝐏𝐀𝐅𝐏) 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 met anew on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023, for the 24th Post Graduate Course.
Held at CSI Stadia in Dagupan City, the certification assessment event for primary care providers was attended by a throng of health care professionals including students, who, at the early stage, are being guided of the PAFP creed and values of integrity, commitment, compassion, excellence, and social responsibility in managing patients holistically by adhering to the patient-centered, family-focused, and community oriented care.
With me representing San Nicolas are 𝐃𝐫. 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐬 𝐋𝐚𝐰𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐝𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐫. 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥 𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 of our Municipal Health Office.
Personally I have enjoyed the event, not only for the new learning that have been added to our competencies but also for the chance to meet and greet with colleagues and medical representatives. It is indeed an exciting occasion and an awesome feeling to collaborate once again with fellow duty bearers as we unite in advancing our knowledge and expertise to provide accessible, continuous, comprehensive, and coordinated care, which is the core of Philippine Academy of Family Physicians’ principles.
Cheers to PAFP Pangasinan Chapter for always being at the forefront of providing primary health care, even in the most hard-to-reach communities!
