Today, a total of 14 San Nicolanians graduated from the skills training program on Computer System Servicing, a project initiated by the local government of San Nicolas in partnership with Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and MAXIMA Technical Skills Training Institute, Inc.
The graduates were recognized and honored in a simple ceremony celebrating their success held at the Municipal Grounds.
“Diligence, perseverance and strategy are the most important traits you must have to continue building your future. You have been given a powerful weapon – the skills on computer system servicing. With this, I hope you will use it to help not only your family but also our kababayans,” Mayor Alice beamingly said.
With all her praises, Mayor Alice thanked the TESDA Provincial Office for always being supportive to all the programs and initiatives of San Nicolas.
““We are very grateful for the all-out support of TESDA Pangasinan headed by Provincial Director Jimmicio S. Daoaten. Since the beginning of my stint as Mayor of San Nicolas, you have been very supportive and encouraging. Thank you for providing the people of San Nicolas better opportunities especially during this challenging times,” she expressed.
Also attending the event were Mr. Ronald Sta. Ana, Supervisor of TESD, Engr. Russell Vilmer Tandoc, School President of MAXIMA Technical and Skills Training Institute, Inc., Mr. Vergel Yogyog De Vera, trainer on Computer System Servicing, Vice Mayor Alvin Bravo and other members of the Sangguniang Bayan.
Mayor Alice wishes the graduates all the best in their future endeavors and reminded them to always bring the skills and traits of a TESDA graduate, world-class and highly competent skilled worker.
The TESDA training, which is facilitated by skill experts from Maxima Technical and Training Skills Institute, requires an 8-hour session per day for 35 straight days.
