Elated and overjoyed, the families of San Nicolas welcomed with cheers the Christmas Food Packs of the local government unit headed by Mayor Alicia Primicias-Enriquez.
Prepared to be given to all 11,500 families covering the 33 barangays of San Nicolas, each gift pack contains an Elbow Macaroni, Mixed Fruit Cocktail, Nata De Coco, Condense milk, All Purpose Cream, Spaghetti Pasta, and Spaghetti Sauce for the holiday meals.
This is part of the LGU’s way of saying “Thank You” to the people of San Nicolas for their support to all the programs of the local government unit especially in our fight against the dreaded COVID-19.
“Without the people’s participation and support, we could not have hurdled this greatest challenge that confronted us for almost two years already. Our town is among the lucky ones when it comes to the battle against the pandemic not because of its leaders but because of its people who stood with us in stemming the spread of the virus. I am indeed lucky to lead such kind of constituents so I thank everyone for all your support,” Mayor Alice emotionally said.
Mayor Alice said the delivery of the Christmas Food Packs will continue until all the families have received their share of the gift from the LGU.
“I know this isn’t enough but through this gesture I hope that all the people of San Nicolas will feel how much we love them,” she added.
