The Municipality of San Nicolas purchased an additional vehicle–A Brand New Sinotruck Dump Truck–in order to address what the town is calling a time-sensitive need for such equipment that is vital to its normal operations.
Mayor Alice cheerfully announced the latest addition to the townβs fleet saying the new dump truck will augment the existing truck teams used for a variety of concerns.
βThis new equipment is in addition to two (2) ambulance units, (2) dumptrucks, manlifter, payloader, and rescue vehicle that we initially procuredβ, Mayor Alice said.
βWhat is good about procuring new equipment like this is that it can be used in transporting goods and support equipment to our barangays. It can also be used during disaster or calamities or maybe as a support vehicle in the delivery of construction materials to the barangays,β she said.
βAlso since the start of my administration, we have been very diligent with our cleanliness campaign so this new dump truck can also be a good addition in the collection of rubbish generated during our clean-up campaign,β Mayor Alice added.
Mayor Alice thus thanked the Municipal Council for approving the purchase of the vehicle and in recognizing the necessity of an added vehicle in our town.
