The local government of San Nicolas is proud to announce a significant restoration project aimed at preserving the Ermita portion of the Municipal Cemetery.
Mayor Alice recently visited the cemetery together with Engr. Jimmy Javar and Architect Shekinah Ruiz to discuss the upcoming renovation of Ermita which holds a special significance, serving as the place where families gather for the last viewing and blessing of their departed loved ones.
“It is a sacred space that honors the memories of those we have lost and provides a serene environment for reflection and farewell. With the planned renovations, we aim to enhance the beauty and functionality of the Ermita, ensuring that it continues to serve its important role for generations to come,” the mayor said.
The mayor also added that updates will be shared in San Nicolas, Pangasinan My Home My Pride as the project progresses.
