She spent her Saturday and Sunday by conducting ocular inspections in all established barangay checkpoints to scrutinize the strict implementation of Extreme Enhance Community Quarantine.

The EECQ provides that returning residents of the province are ordered to stay where they are, and not to return home until it is lifted.

Meanwhile, the barangay councils furnished their barangay reports on COVID-19 including the identification and monitoring of international and local arrivals of PUMs.

The Mayor also checked the municipality’s entry and exit point to ensure that the province-wide lockdown is being implemented. The checkpoint installed in Brgy. San Roque is a strategic location as this is considered to be the entry and exit of all vehicles and people from San Nicolas.

The visitation and inspection of barangay checkpoints and entry and exit points was made to ensure that necessary protocols are being observed in accordance with the regulations set by the DOH, DILG and IATF and that all other related precautionary measures are now in place.

Mayor Alice thanked all the barangay councils for their hard work and sacrifice. She also assured the barangay frontliners of her continuing support.

The Mayor distributed coffee packs, face masks, thermal scanner and zonrox bleach as a simple way of recognizing the efforts and sacrifices of all the frontliners who are out there fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. She also gave them food packs courtesy of San Nicolanians Pangasinan Association of Northern California.
