The releasing of scholarship aid and solicitations started the Friday of Mayor Alice. Scholarship grants were given to deserving students for them to be able to continue their education. Moreover, the solicitations were given to grantees, mostly of them were SK officials for the celebration of Christmas in their respective barangays.

Thereupon, Mayor Alice dignified the Christmas celebration of solo parents and children who were abandoned, neglected, and orphaned held at the Municipal Gymnasium.

Serving as the guest speaker, Mayor Alice vowed that she will continue to support programs empowering solo parents and protect the rights of every children, saying, “I acknowledge the difficulties of being a solo parent, playing two roles in raising up a child – a mother and a father. That is rewarding yet exhausting. And to show our highest respect and appreciation, we prepared this day for all of you to enjoy and seize every moment.”

Also during the day, Mayor Alice attended the 20th Sacerdotal Anniversary of Rev. Fr. Noel Bulosan at St. Nicholas de Tolentino Parish.

Under the leadership of Mayor Alice, the Local Government of San Nicolas held its Christmas Party at the Municipal Auditorium. Municipal officials and employees were present during the night-long celebration. Delicious food and exciting activities were prepared including a raffle draw wherein the grand prize is a flat screen LED TV.

In her message, the mayor thanked all the employees and again encouraged them to work hard for the betterment of the town.

“Muli, nais ko po kayong pasalamatan sa inyong suporta sa ating administrasyon. Maraming salamat po sa pagtratrabaho ng maayos at pagbibigay ng nararapat na serbisyo sa publiko. Sa susunod na taon, nawa’y patuloy po nating gampanan ang ating mga tungkulin at patuloy po nating paglingkuran ang taumbayan”, she reiterated.

Later in the evening, Mayor Alice also graced the Christmas Party of 5C District held at Sto. Tomas Elementary School. 5C District is consist of Brgy. Cabuloan, Brgy. Camanggaan, Brgy. Camindoroan, Brgy. Calanutian and Brgy. Sto. Tomas. It is indeed a ‘Thank God It’s Friday’ for all of them as they jive into the night.
