Back to her office after the Christmas day, Mayor Alice attended the releasing of solicitations to the grantees, mostly of which are for basketball and Christmas Party celebrations.
After which, Mayor Alice graced the Barangay Health Workers (BHW) Christmas Party held at the Municipal Gymnasium. BHWs are health care providers who undergone training programs under any accredited government and non-government organization and who voluntarily renders primary health care services in the community after having been accredited to function as such by the local health board in accordance with the guidelines promulgated by the Department of Health.
In her inspirational message as the guest speaker, Mayor Alice noted that without the help of the BHWs, no matter how good the plan of the local government to deliver primary health care services, nothing much can be achieved because BHWs are the ones in the frontline of its implementation.
Later in the evening, Mayor Alice has devoted her time in spot-checking of current projects and inspection of the Christmas Display at the Municipal Complex. She also graced the Brgy. Sobol Christmas Party held at their plaza. The celebration was organized by D’ Peace Makers Youth Organization with the aim of bringing good vibes and positivity among the people.
