Today, Mayor Alice administered the Oath of Office of Barangay Lungao’s new Kagawad, Ms. Myla E. Badua and Barangay Sto. Tomas’ new Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairman, Mr. Jumar S. Doton

“Congratulations on your appointment as new members of your respective barangay councils. May you fulfill your duties and obligations with dedication and commitment; and uphold public interest,” Mayor Alice appealed to the new appointees.

Secondly, personnel from Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Revenue District Office No. 6 (RDO-6) – Urdaneta City paid a courtesy call to Mayor Alice to inform the latter of their policies in connection to the renewal/application of business permits.

Accordingly, every business enterprise has to register with the BIR for taxation purposes. The Bureau will furnish your business with its own tax identification number (TIN) and the authority to print receipt, invoices, and others.

Afterwards, Mayor Alice had a short conversation with two of the most notable educators in town, Sir Bart Carrera and Sir Joel Guirren. She took the opportunity to thank them for the support they are giving unconditionally not only to her but also to the local government of San Nicolas.

Also during the day, Mayor Alice supervised the third day of LGU San Nicolas’ “Open to All Municipalities Vaccination”.

The vax campaign, which was successfully launched last Monday, January 17, accommodates vaccine applicants who are residents from nearby towns including LSIs.
