Mayor Alice joined the Inspection Team of the Provincial Engineering Office in inspecting the construction of wet market under Rogenox Construction and Supply Corporation (RCSC) on January 26.
Due to insufficient budget, the proposed 2-storey building will be altered to a single-storey with the provision of a loft type second floor design comes 2023 funding.
The said wet market is expected to be inaugurated by Gov. Amado Espino Jr. before April.
“This is my promise to the people of San Nicolas. Now, let’s brace ourselves as we will soon open our modernized public market with a bigger and better space for vendors and market goers,” Mayor Alice said.
Vice Mayor Alvin Bravo, Municipal Councilors Amorsolo Pulido, Jose Serquiña Jr. and Leomar Saldivar, and representatives from RCSC joined Mayor Alice during the said inspection.
Later that day, Mayor Alice joined the Human Resource Management Personnel Selection Board in the deliberation of the promotion of Miss Felizabeth Fernandez as Midwife III.
The lady mayor also led the oath-taking of the new SK Chairperson of Brgy. Salpad, Juliana Caliag.
SK Caliag was reminded by the mayor to fulfill her duties and responsibilities for the welfare of the youth in her barangay and to serve with utmost dedication and sincerity.
