Driven by her commitment to give back to the community, Mayor Alice and her team continued the distribution of “Panagayat ni Dok” Christmas packs to the residents on Thursday, December 22, just in time for the holiday season.
During the fourth day of distribution, the barangays of Cabitnongan, Poblacion East, Poblacion West, Siblot, Nining and San Jose were able to receive their fair share of spaghetti packs; serving at least 2,669 families.
Residents were in delight as they received the gift from Mayor Alice which is filled with hope, love and joy.
“This is my simple gesture of appreciation and gratitude to the people of San Nicolas who in their own ways, have contributed to the progress of the town,” said Mayor Alice.
According to Mayor Alice, all family will get one spaghetti pack each, meaning if there are two families in a single household, both will be receiving the said Christmas gift from the local chief executive.
“It is always important to look after our community and make sure that nobody is left behind at what can be a challenging time of year for some,” the lady mayor added.
