With the pandemic still ongoing and COVID-19 still around, the local government unit of San Nicolas is killing the chance for the virus to spread again in the municipality.
Doctor-Mayor Alice Primicias-Enriquez announced that as the LGU would like to ensure the health and welfare of its people, it will now launch the rollout of booster vaccination to all eligible fully vaccinated adults or for everyone aged 18 and older on December 28
Under the DOH’s booster drive, all adults 18 and above are now eligible to receive a single-dose booster of COVID-19 vaccine at least after 3 months after the second dose of AstraZeneca, Moderna, Pfizer, Sinovac or Sputnik while individuals who got the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be able to get a booster at least three months after getting vaccinated.
“Kailangan po nating siguruhin ang kaligtasan ng ating mga mamamayan kaya’t nananawagan po ako sa lahat na sana’y tumulong at makipagkaisa sa booster vaccination program pong ito,” Mayor Alice appealed.
