Mayor Alicia Primicias-Enriquez started the middle of the week by presiding two weddings at her office, legally declaring Mr. Regie Navales & Divina Arquero and Mr. Novie Ariz & Ms. Julieta Abe as husband and wife.
She then advised the two couples to stay honest and faithful to each other saying, “In order to for you to live happily together, you must not only be honest but also be faithful to your partner. The marriage contract you signed is legal and binding. It is a promise for the both of you to support and stay with each other for the rest of your lives.”
After the weddings, Mayor Alice graced the Senior Citizen’s Socialization and Christmas Program 2019 held at the San Nicolas Multi-Purpose Hall and Civic Center. During the celebration, the Federation of Senior Citizens Association of the Philippines (FSCAP) San Nicolas Chapter held contests namely: Best in Costume, Untiring Dancing Lolo and Lola, Best Actress and Best Actor and a Raffle Draw.
Serving as the guest speaker, Mayor Alice said that aside from providing the senior citizens with leisure and ease, this event has always championed their needs.
“This event just grows and grows with each passing year. Our senior citizens come to dance, drink, eat and be merry. It’s impossible not to smile as we look out and see the happiness on so many faces”, the Mayor said while greeting the senior citizens a Merry Christmas.
Mayor Alice also served as the guest speaker of SANSINI Christmas Program 2019 held at San Jose Elementary School. SANSINI is composed of Brgy. San Jose, Brgy. Siblot and Brgy. Nining.
“Ito po ang unang Pasko na magkakasama tayo. Kaya naman nais ko po kayong pasalamatan dahil sa ibinibigay ninyong tiwala at suporta sa ating administrasyon. Makakaasa po kayo na sa mga susunod na taon ay mas marami pa tayong proyektong maisasakatuparan”, said Mayor Alice.
