It’s Christmas time once again and it is during this exciting time of the year that Mayor Alice is reminded, more than ever, that many people are not as fortunate as with the others.
Having said this, Mayor Alice bared that the Local Government Unit has begun packing the “Holiday Pack” for the 12,500 families of San Nicolas.
Consisting of spaghetti and macaroni salad, the Holiday Pack will be distributed soon to augment the preparations of San Nicolanian families for the holiday season.
“This is not much but I really hope this will make a difference in their celebration so aside from buying spaghetti and macaroni salad they might just as well re-allocate their budget to the more important ones as it is already taken care of by us,” she said.
“May the blessings of peace, the beauty of hope, the spirit of love, and the comfort of faith be your gifts this Christmas season. Warmest thoughts and best wishes for a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year”, Mayor Alice added.
