Mayor Alice started her Tuesday by supervising the vaccination activity being held at the Municipal Gymnasium. Just like before, she was seen visible at the vaccination area ensuring that minimum public health standards are strictly being implemented.

Secondly, she walked her way to inspect the ongoing construction activities at the wet market not only to check the progress but also to establish quality and safety controls; hoping that it will be finished by March 2022.

The said construction of the wet market is part of the modernization of the public market initiated by Mayor Alice through the help of Governor Amado “Pogi” I. Espino III.

Back at the municipal grounds, Mayor Alice gathered the OSCA officers and presidents right after their monthly meeting at the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) for a short conversation.

During the activity, the senior citizens were serenaded by the lovely youth choir of Lagpan Pentecostal Church. Those in attendance were moved emotionally by the way the members of the choir communicated and sang each song.

Simultaneously, Mayor Alice administered the oath taking of Ms. Ma. Crisanta L. Alagano and Mr. Narciso Molina as the new Sangguniang Barangay members of the Brgy. Salpad and Brgy. San Jose, respectively.

Present in the oath-taking ceremony were Punong Barangay Danilo Serios of Salpad and Punong Barangay Noel Ladia of San Jose.

Thereafter, Mayor Alice gathered anew the Municipal Inter-Agency Task Force Against COVID-19 to revisit the implementation of municipal ordinances and executive orders in compliance to minimum public health standards (MPHS).

“We all know that the number of new COVID cases has been increasing each day so we must implement strategies to strengthen and complement our efforts against COVID-19,” noted Mayor Alice.

To conclude her day, Mayor Alice joined the personnel of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Pangasinan in the dry run testing of equipment for meat processing under DTI’s Shared Service Facilities (SSF) through the Office of Congressman Tyrone D. Agabas.

The SSF Project is a major component of DTI’s MSME Development Program and aims to improve the competitiveness of MSMEs by providing them with machinery, equipment, tools, systems, skills and knowledge under a shared system.
