Today, another crucial infrastructure project has been delivered to the people, this time benefitting the residents of Sobol.

“It is with much pride and joy to share with you that we have completed another infrastructure project – a road righ-of-way. This project is so convenient because we have paved the gateway leading to the barangay of Sobol, as I promised before,” Mayor Alice shared.

“Kung ikukumpara natin ang mga larawang kuha noon sa kasalukuyang itsura ngayon, mapapansin natin ang malaking diperensya. Mula sa maputik at baku-bakong daan, ngayon ay sementado na,” she added.

The said barangay road measuring 190 meters long , 4 meters wide and 8 inches thick, is part of the donated 1,000 square-meter property of Mr. Bonifacio Acosta Jr., former Punong Barangay of Brgy. Sobol to the Local Government Unit of San Nicolas. The deed of donation was realized on November 26, 2020 through the efforts of Congressman Tyrone D. Agabas.

“In behalf of the Municipality of San Nicolas, I would like to give due credit once again to Mr. Bonifacio Acosta Jr. and family for their valuable donation to the local government. If it were not for them, this project would not have been possible,” Mayor Alice expressed.

Meanwhile, the barangay officials of Sobol headed by Punong Barangay Melba Vistro showed their profound gratitude to Mayor Alice for giving them a much-needed infrastructure project to begin the year.

To conclude, Mayor Alice assured that the local government will continue to carry out infrastructure projects to provide a safer and better road access and to improve the transport of government services to the people.
