NCIP officials and staffs led by Provincial Director Dr. Enrique P. Delos Santos, Jr. and CDO3/UCSC Head, Ms. Irene E. Culbengan, conducted inter-agency ancestral domain visitation and consultation today in San Nicolas.
Held at the Municipal Training Center, the said activity was graced by Mayor Alicia L. Primicias-Enriquez, Vice Mayor Alvin O. Bravo, Municipal IPMR Felixfrey N. Lorenzo and other members of the Sanguniang Bayan.
Dr. Delos Santos Jr. discussed the overview and objectives of the activity while Ms. Culbengan presented the 11 building blocks of a resilient, responsive and relevant ICCs/IPs ancestral domains.
In behalf of the local government unit, Mayor Alice humbly received the NCIP Annual/Accomplishment Report CY 2020 from NCIP Pangasinan Provincial Officer, Dr. Enrique P. Delos Santos Jr. and Urdaneta CSC Head, Ms. Irene E. Culbengan.
Represented by their respective barangay officials and IPMRs, the Iwak AD of Brgy. Fianza, Ibaloy AD of Brgy. San Felipe East and Kalanguya AD of Brgy. Malico were also awarded with the NCIP Annual/Accomplishment Report CY 2020.
Also present in the activity were Atty. Allan P. Belde, Provincial Legal Officer, Ms. Ms. Christine May Suyat, Nurse 1, Ms. Ma. Concepcion Oliver, CAO 1, Ms. Antonia Martinez, Midwife 2 and Ms. Emy L. Agustin, TAA1.
After the NCIP AD visitation and consultation, Mayor Alice along with VM Bravo and municipal councilors met and convened with the Liga ng mga Barangay members together with their respective Barangay Health Workers (BHW) leaders for the conduct of their monthly meeting.
During the said meeting, each barangay was awarded with Medical Kit from the provincial government of Pangasinan. Governor Amado I. Espino III was represented by Board Member Noel C. Bince and Board Member Dong S. Perez, Jr, who both shared their thoughts to the attendees.
Each medical kit is composed of an infant scale, weighing scale, thermometer, sphygmomanometer, and CompAir compressor nebulizer.
“Maraming salamat po Governor Amado I. Espino III sa inyong poging serbisyong sa aming mahal na bayan. Malaking tulong po ito lalo na ngayong pandemya. Maraming salamat din po BM Bince and BM Perez sa paghahatid ng mga medical kits na ito,” Mayor Alice shared.
Thirdly, Mayor Alice conducted ocular inspection to the ongoing project of her able leadership – the widening of Bitin Bridge in Brgy. Malilion.
