In an effort to address the needs of the poor and vulnerable groups, Mayor Alice once again has released P571,000 for its medical and burial assistance to San Nicolanians on January 18-19, 2022.
A total of 253 beneficiaries received their financial assistance in the two-day distribution program held at the municipal grounds.
Mayor Alice has acknowledged that San Nicolanians need assistance on medical and burial expenses. Under her program, low-income citizens should be able to access aid from the local government.
“When you are suffering, we empathize with you. When you lose your loved ones, we also mourn with you. May this financial assistance remind you of the utmost love and concern of the local government,” she said.
The lady mayor also stressed the importance of taking care of one’s health in this time of pandemic. She reminded them not to lower their guards down as the pandemic is still not over.
Present in the program were Vice Mayor Alvin Bravo, Municipal Councilors Leomar Saldivar, Jun Serquiña, Amorsolo Pulido, and Queen Descargar.
The financial assistance distribution is being held monthly as the LGU San Nicolas is committed to achieving an inclusive, resilient, and sustainable community while sustaining its efforts to eradicate extreme poverty.
