After her home visitation in Brgy. Siblot, Mayor Alice moved to Brgy. Calaocan and inspected the ongoing construction of box culverts there.
The construction project is aimed at widening a bridge in the said barangay to make way for large vehicles and fire trucks which are necessary during emergency.
Later that day, the lady mayor also inspected the wet market under construction. During her campaign, Mayor Alice noted that the wet market is already congested and has become inconvenient for market goers.
“I am looking forward to seeing the new wet market with a bigger and better space for our vendors. Our public market will soon be modernized, just like what I’ve promised before,” Mayor Alice said.
On the other hand, Mayor Alice had asked for the continued understanding of the public due to some inconveniences that arise from time to time with the ongoing construction works.
“Para naman ito sa ating lahat at para maging kaaya-aya at organisado ang ating pamilihang bayan,” she appealed.
Inspection of the construction works are being carried out to verify compliance with the requirements of the contract documents.
