Filling herself with encouragement and positivity, Mayor Alice started her week productively as she engaged herself in inspecting barangay projects. She firmly believed at the heart of everything we do is some form of motivation – that is to serve the people.

1) ROAD SHOULDERING IN CACABUGAOAN

First stop – Cacabugaoan. Mayor Alice visited the remote barangay of Cacabugaoan to personally look over the road shouldering project in the said area. Under the 2021 Barangay Subsidy fund, Mayor Alice supplied 240 bags of cement, 4 truck-load of screened sand, 7 truck-load of screened gravel and 5 pieces Form 2x6x6m C-Purlins.

2) 3 IN 1 IN CALAOCAN

Shortly after visiting Brgy. Cacabugaoan, Mayor Alice motored to Brgy. Calaocan to inspect the road concreting project in Dike 1 and Dike 2 as well as the road shouldering project in Sitio Siblot. Last year, Mayor Alice provided 250 bags of cement, 5 truck-load of screened sand, and 7 truck-load of screened gravel for their projects.

3. ROAD CONRETING IN SIBLOT

Simultaneously, Mayor Alice coursed to Brgy. Siblot to check the road concreting project in Sitio Tramo. The LGU’s counterpart was composed of 245 bags of cement, 4 truck-load of screened sand, 6 truck-load of 3/4 gravel and 5 pieces Form 2x6x6m C-Purlins.

4. ROAD SHOULDERING IN POBLACION EAST

Going to Poblacion East, Mayor Alice went to inspect road shouldering project in Jacinta Mejia Street. 247 bags of cement, 6 truck-load of screened sand, and 7 truck-load of screened gravel were apportioned to them by the local government.

5. WAITING SHED IN SAN JOSE

Mayor Alice’s last barangay project inspection was in San Jose. She was happy to see the waiting shed being erected and is now beneficial to the residents. Thhe LGU’s complement for this project were 9 pieces 3.5mm x 1 1/2 angle bar, 8 pieces 3.5mm x 1 angle bar, 14 pieces 2″x20′ g.i. pipe s40, 20 pieces 2x3x20′ C-Purlins (g.i.), 5 pieces 2x10x20′ Fascia Board, 10 kilos welding rod, 7 pieces .4mm x 2.0m pre-painted old. Corr., 2 pieces end flashing, 500 pieces tekscrew, 200 pieces 5/32 blind rivet, 4 gallons Red Oxide Primer, 2 gallons paint thinner, 2 pieces paint brush #2, 4 bags of Cement, 1 truck-load screened sand, 3 pieces 6mmx2x20′ flat bar, 18 pieces 1/2 x 10m bolt, 4 pieces 9mm x 6m rsb, and 1 roll #16 tie wire.

With these inspections of barangay projects, all of the concerned barangay captains and other barangay officials including BHWs, BNS, BSPOs, CVOs and SK officials warmly welcomed Mayor Alice with big smiles on their faces as their infra projects are now turned into reality. During each visitation, priority projects for Fiscal Year 2022 were also discussed.

Afterwards, the untiring mayor still managed to conduct an ocular inspection of the public cemetery, ensuring that cleanliness and orderliness in the said area is being maintained.

In between other activities, Mayor Alice supervised the vaccination activity being held at the municipal gymnasium. Dubbed as “Vax as One”, the local government decided to continue vaccinating non-residents until vaccine supplies last.
