The Good Samaritan’s work has been completed today as Mayor Alice brought her gifts of love to the farthest villages in San Nicolas, Brgys. Malico and Fianza.
Using a high four-wheel transport, Alice’s Angels carried the holiday packs while traversing the winding Ambayoan river; Mayor Alice was accompanied by her husband, Zandro, during the whole-day distribution of holiday pack.
“They were very happy to see me as I personally delivered the holiday treat to them. I can really feel their hearty, hospitable reception. It was a wonder to behold!” the lady mayor recounted.
Mayor Alice gave 100 pesos per adult and 50 pesos per child as additional gift to the townsfolks in Fianza while workers of road concreting project from San Nicolas to Itogon, Benguet were also given the gift for Christmas.
Meanwhile, Mayor Alice and her company were warmly welcomed by the residents of Malico in the second site of distribution.
“Going back to Malico never gets old. The cold breeze and the magnificent view of the sky, mountain, and sea are all worth the travel. Plus, our townsfolks from Malico always greet us with warm hospitality,” the lady mayor said.
