The untiring workforce behind Mayor Alice’ successful programs this year were surprised as she and her husband, Mr. Zandro Enriquez, gifted them grocery packs in time for the Christmas season amid the economic challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dubbed as “Pamaskong Handog: Pasasalamat sa inyong Sakripisyo”, the activity recognizes the efforts and sacrifices of Barangay Captains, Senior Citizen Presidents, Sangguniang Kabataan Chairmen, Barangay Health Worker Leaders, data encoders, utility workers, welders, electricians, Alice’ Angels and personnel from the Department of Health, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, Bureau of Fire Protection, and Philippine National Police.

In a short interview, Mayor Alice said fostering a healthy and professional culture of gift giving in the workplace is a really admirable goal.

“This is our own little way of giving Christmas gift to our solid working force. We want to make them happy and feel the Christmas spirit despite the pandemic dampening the mood of this year’s Christmas season. ,” Mayor Alice said.

“COVID-19 has affected almost every aspect of people’s lives in very difficult ways. Big thanks to my workforce who have made significant sacrifices for the betterment of our community at-large,” she added.
