Sa patuloy na paglaban ng bayan ng San Nicolas sa sakit na COVID-19 ay hindi matatawaran ang didikasyon at pagsisikap ng mga cleaning team at ito ay pinapahalagahan ni Mayor Alice na nagpahayag ng kaniyang pasasalamat sa kanila.
“My special thanks goes to our Bureau of Fire, utility workers, and job orders who have been diligently doing their job to make sure that our municipal grounds, public market, slaughterhouse, cemetery, and other public areas are always clean and tidy. I am really delighted and I do appreciate their dedication and their extra time and effort to ensure that our public facilities and spaces are in order every day,” she said.
“While it is true that our frontliners and health workers have been devoting their time and energy to contain this pandemic, we cannot discount the importance of the clean-up team in the day-to-day operations of the municipality,” she stressed, adding “I am humbled by our cleaning team’s sacrifices and commitment in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness in our town which is part and parcel of our efforts to fight this disease.
“I cannot thank you enough for your noble contributions and sacrifices and it is my ardent hope that we will continue to work together to provide the best services to our people at all times, pandemic or no pandemic,” Mayor Alice adds.
