On the inaugural day of the Municipal Children’s Congress 2024, we witnessed an inspiring gathering dedicated to the theme “Break the Prevalence, End the Violence: Protecting Children, Creating a Safe Philippines.”
Emceed by the dynamic duo of Mr. Robert Acenas and Ms. Arlena Pichay, the event set a powerful tone for this two-day celebration.
We proudly welcomed daycare children from 37 Child Development Centers, showcasing the incredible spirit and talents of our youth.
Mayor Alicia L. Primicias-Enriquez delivered a heartfelt message, reaffirming her unwavering love and support for the children of San Nicolas.
In her address, she expressed deep gratitude to MSWD Officer Ms. Delia Dalutag and all the dedicated daycare workers for their tireless efforts and commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our youth. The Mayor’s commitment to creating a nurturing environment where every child can thrive resonated deeply with everyone present.
The day’s activities featured exciting contests, including singing and “Draw and Tell,” highlighting the remarkable talents of our young participants. The Board of Judges, composed of esteemed educators Domingo Dismaya II, Cristy Mar Alberto, and Ronaleen Pasion, had the challenging task of evaluating the creativity and passion displayed by our children.
We were honored to have the presence of Sangguniang Bayan Members, led by Vice Mayor Alvin Bravo, who joined in celebrating the talents and potential of our future leaders, fostering a community that prioritizes the safety and well-being of every child.
