The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) is dedicated to provide social protection and promote the rights and welfare of the poor, vulnerable, and the disadvantaged individuals, families, and communities.
We aim to contribute to poverty alleviation and empowerment through local government policies, programs, projects, and services implemented with or through the Department of Social Welfare and Development, other GOs, NGOs, People’s Organizations, and other members of Civil Society.
We strive and work hard in enhancing the well-being of our community through a range of social services and programs. Our mission is to support vulnerable populations, including children, the elderly, persons with disabilities, and solo parents by providing essential services such as counseling, financial assistance, and skills training to promote social justice and equity by fostering inclusive development initiatives that empower and uplift the total well-being of our clients in partnership with the local government unit, other government agencies, and community members.
