Mayor Alicia L. Primicas-Enriquez led the oath-taking ceremony of the new barangay officers of the Office for Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) held at the Municipal Grounds.
In her message, Mayor Alice thanked the senior citizens for their contribution to the society, calling them the “greatest generation.”
“The benefits and special privileges you are now enjoying cannot even compensate for your great contribution to our town and country,” she said.
With great hope, she assured the entire organization that the local government will extend its full support to all the programs, projects and activities of the senior citizens.
After the oath-taking ceremony, Mayor Alice awarded plaque of appreciation to the outgoing officers as a sign of recognition and sincere appreciation for all the support and services they have extended not only to the OSCA but also to the entire local government of San Nicolas.
“This is a remarkable effort and I’m pleased we’re able to recognize your commitment and dedication in ensuring the welfare of your members,” she noted.
The event was also participated by Vice Mayor Alvin Bravo, Councilor Amorsolo Pulido, Councilor Jun Serquiña, Councilor Queen Descargar, Councilor Raymond Prestoza, and Councilor Leomar Saldivar.
